Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been snapped up by cult Australian beauty and cosmetics brand, ModelCo. They have secured a deal with Rosie in one of their biggest coups yet.
The Tan-in-a-can brand has managed to sign Rosie up as the official ambassador for its new summer advertising campaign, and so the transformers star can now add the title of beauty icon to her amazing list of credentials.
Rosie is all set for a trip to the iconic Hayman Island, Australia’s premier award-winning island, for a photo shoot to take place there in July. Rosie is to be the new face of the brand and to feature in a national advertising campaign is set to run from September 2013.
ModelCo is now in its 11th year in the tanning business and is competing with the big players in the field like max factor, L’oreal and Maybelline. This new direction for the brand comes complete with a new slogan “the smarter way to a glamorous life.” Rosie is to join the brand just as they embark on this new adventure, with the brand promoting an updated website with new lifestyle content and angled towards women looking for accessible glamour.
Shelley Barrett, the Founder and CEO of ModelCo was delighted with the news, describing Rosie as the “perfect brand ambassador” who “truly encapsulates the ModelCo brand values”. The company aim to take premier beauty products to the mass market whilst keeping them glamorous.
ModelCo say their products are quick fix, dual purpose solutions for busy women who want to remain stylish. Rosie is said to be “excited” to be working with ModelCo and stated “glamour-on-the-go products really resonate with my lifestyle.” She went on to explain, “I love beauty products that not only deliver what they promise but make my life easier, too.”
